A liquid-cooled multiple fully lined disc brake with hydrodynamic frictional contact with a mechanical application device, comprising races with inclined surfaces and roller elements, arranged between the plates is described in which the actuating force is introduced by way of an actuating ring, non-displaceable in an axial direction and radially supported on the outer circumference of the brake anchor plate carrying the fixed plates. The actuating force is transmitted from the actuating ring to the application device arranged between the plates in such a way that an axial movement of the plates together with the application device is possible.
