Method for measuring the absorption or release of heat by a medium via an object, in particular for the purpose of calorimetry in heating systems
In the method, the first step is to use two temperature sensors to measure the temperatures of the medium as the object is fed and returned, and to form the temperature difference between the feed and return temperatures. Measurement of the rate of flow is carried out periodically and indirectly by forming the temperature difference as follows: one of the temperature sensors is heated to a temperature at which the difference between the temperature of the heated temperature sensor and the temperature of the medium around the temperature sensor has an adjustable value that is constant for the object. The product of the output required to heat the temperature sensor and the temperature difference between the feed and return temperatures is formed; finally, the integral of the product is formed.
