METHOD OF SUPPLYING SAND IN EXECUTION OF SAND PILE USING WATER-ADDED SAND

PURPOSE:To rationally feed sand, by a method wherein water-added sand is discharged as a compressed air is fed in a hollow pipe, and after pull off of the pipe is stopped in a stage before height of sand is lowered to the level lower than a level equivalent to active earth pressure in a depth to the lower end of the pipe, sand is supplied. CONSTITUTION:Water-added sand 2 is fed in a hollow pipe 1-penetrated into a ground, and the sand is held in a fluid manner by the use of a means such as vibration. Thereafter, the hollow pipe 1 is pulled off as a compressed air is fed in the hollow pipe 1 through a compressed air feed and exhaust pipe 3, and the water-added sand 2 in a fluid state is discharged. Pull off of the hollow pipe 1 is stopped at a stage before the height of the water-added sand 2 is lowered to lower than a height Hb equivalent to an active earth pressure in a depth Zb to the lower end of the hollow pipe 1. Further, after a compressed air in the hollow pipe 1 is exhausted, water-added sand is supplied in the hollow pipe 1 from a hopper 5.
