METHOD OF DRIVING PILES SUCH AS STEEL PIPE, STEEL SHEET PILE, AND DRIVING LEADER THEREOF

PURPOSE:To easily and reliably drive piles, by a method wherein, after the piles are erected through the working of a vibro-hammer, the piles are driven with the aid of a diesel hammer. CONSTITUTION:Piles 1 are erected in a ground on the sea bottom through the working of a vibro hammer 4 installed to the boom of a ship. After the boom is removed from the vibro-hammer 4, a leader 6, to which a hammer 5, such as diesel hammers, air-operated hammers, is attached, is hung down from the boom. After the pile 1, erected in a ground, is covered with the leader 6, the pile 1 is regularily driven into the ground with the aid of the hammer 5. This, since, even if the erection position of the pile 1 is displaced during erection, the pile is pulled off by means of the vibro hammer 4, enables the piles 1 to be reliably and vertically driven at a desired position.
