ON-SITE WITHSTAND VOLTAGE TEST OF HERMETICALLY CLOSED TYPE SWITCH APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily perform an on-side withstand voltage test, by preliminarily attaching an on-site withstand voltage test transformer to a hermetically closed type switch apparatus and performing the withstand voltage test before removing said transformer. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 5 is attached to the main body of a hermetically closed switch apparatus and excited from the low voltage side thereof to generate predetermined voltage in the high voltage side thereof and voltage is applied to all parts for a predetermined time through three-phase matrix wires 14 to perform an on-site withstand voltage test. Next, the transformer 5 is detached and the switch apparatus is covered with a separately prepared cover to be filled with highly insulative gas.
