A cream, designated 'Alauda' No. 4, comprises 5cc Cynara Scoilymus, 5cc Vitis vinifera and excipient to make 100ml. It is applied 1-2 times per day as a thin layer, then massaged gently into the skin. - V. vinifera is a muscle and nerve energiser; remineralising agent; detoxicant; hepatic stimulant and decongestant; diuretic; haemostatic; cholagogue and blood and circulation regulator.
