The moisture content of the multilayer cardboard, sheet is measured before a Yankee cylinder by sensors for measuring the surface, the back and the moisture content in the thickness direction. These measurements are fed to a computer which controls the pressure difference the upper and lower cylinders before the Yankee cylinder.
