The bicycle frame accommodates a seat above and between the front and rear wheels. The frame is tubular, with the seat fixed to the rear wheel portion, while the front wheel portion hinges in a vertical plane in relation to the latter. A drive mechanism is coupled to the rear wheel and steering gear to the front one. The frame hinges on a horizontal axis at the level of the seat with first and second double tubes running from the hinge to the wheels. There is a double steel cable running between the front and rear wheels and interrupted by a tension spring, forming a triangle with the tubes and with a base of variable length. Thus the rider has a sprung movement up and down.
