The ship section can be manoeuvred in narrow waterways, using a self-propelled L-shaped pontoon unit. The pontoon enables the ships section to be turned, e.g. through 90 degrees, using incorporated weights and water ballast tanks. The section can be rotated so that the depth of the hull is oriented horizontally.
