PURPOSE:To perform a test to influence an object to be tested by wave motion, etc., in a liquid with high accuracy by providing a hollow elastic member to isolate a liquid chamber formed to the upper part side of a vibrating table from a gas chamber formed to its lower part side. CONSTITUTION:First, the vibrating table 4 is floated by supplying pressure oil to a static pressure bearing in a static pressure joint 8 at the vibrator 6 side for vertically. When a vibrator 5 for horizontality is actuated in this state, the vibrating table 4 on which the object 2 to be tested is loaded is vibrated in the horizontal direction via the static pressure joint 8 and the object 2 to be tested is also vibrated in the same way in the sea water 3 of the liquid chamber 14. Next, in case the vibrating table 4 is vibrated in the vertical direction, the vibrating table 4 is vibrated in the vertical direction via the joint 8 when actuation of the vibrator 5 is stopped and the vibrator 6 is actuated. Further, the coupled vibrations in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction can be given to the vibrating table 4 by actuating the vibrators 5 and 6 at the same time. Then, a sloshing phenomenon generating in the sea water 3 in a low-frequency area is absorbed by deformation of an elastic tube 11.
