PURPOSE:To produce the data on each type of land use easily and with reduced time and labor by providing a data production control part containing a program which stores and discriminates the types of land uses for each lattice point. CONSTITUTION:The signals showing the types of land uses which are supplied from an input part 4 are applied to a data production control part 6. Then the types of land uses are changed with control into the colors set previously by the program of the part 6. In an output mode of a plotter 12, a prescribed section area corresponding to a lattice point 14, e.g., a section area 1-1 corresponding to the point 14 of the coordinates (1, 1) is colored in response to the type of the land use. Then the section areas corresponding to all lattice points between coordinates (1, 1)-(20, 20) are plotted in different colors. Thus it is possible to produce the data on each type of land use easily and with reduction of time and labor.
