ON BOARD CHARGING MECHANISM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GUIDED TRANSPORT VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the charging work of a battery, by depressing the collecting brush installed in a holder by dint of a plate spring, making it contact with a charging electrode projectingly installed in a yard with pressure, and installing the holder in the other end of a fulcrum shaft having a guide wheel to be engaged with the electrode at one end. CONSTITUTION:This on board charging mechanism to be installed in an ACV (an automatically guided transport vehicle) is provided with a leverlike fulcrum shaft 14 whose central part 14a is supported free of rocking motion on a fulcrum 13 to be installed in the side of the ADV. A guide wheel 15 is totatably installed in one end of the fulcrum shaft 14, and a holder 17 consisting of an insulator having a collecting brush 16 is attached to the other end. This brush 16 is depressed down by a plate spring 18 whose on end is attached to the fulcrum shaft 14. And, this brush 16 is held so as to become a vertical attitude by the holder 17 at a time when the guide wheel 15 rides on the charging electrode 11 laid down on the specified position of a floor surface of the yard, and it is designed so as to favorably come into contact with these electrodes 11 and 11a by dint of the plate spring 18.
