PURPOSE:To form the cut face having no shear drop by interposing a push board between a pressurizing stem and Al material and by cutting the push remainder of the Al material by pulling it out with the mandrel fitted to the pressurizing stem in case of extruding the Al material inside a container in a bar shape out of the forming open part of a die. CONSTITUTION:The die 2 having a forming open port 15 is arranged at one end of a container 1 and the Al billet 14 inside the container is pressed with a pressing stem 3 via a push board 6 and extruded from the open port 15 of the die 2 as Al bar stock 8. In this case the Al bar 8 is extruded by pressing a mandrel supporting rod 13 by engaging it with the through hole 11 of the push board 6 by providing the supporting rod 13 at the tip of the press stem 3 as well as providing the through hole 11 on the extruding axial line of the push board 6 at the inside thereof. A mandrel 12 is then fitted to the tip of the pressing stem 3, the tip of the mandrel 12 is entered the forming open port 15 of the die 2 by passing the push remainder 5 of the Al billet and the push board by the pressing stem 3 and after separating the Al bar 8 from the push remainder 5 at the terminal thereof the push board 6 is exposed outside the container and taken out by a shear.
