LOCAL BAG FILTER ENHANCED IN ITS REVERSE BLOW SHAKE-DOWN EFFICIENCY

PURPOSE:To obtain a bag filter enhanced in its shake-down efficiency by the reverse blow of dust, by interposing each partition plate having an uneven surface between filter bags. CONSTITUTION:Jet pipes are arranged at every two of filter bags 1a, 1b, 1c,... so as to apply alternate reverse blow to said filter bags and each of partition plates 2 each having an uneven surface are interposed between the filter bag 1 an the adjacent filter bag 1 at every group injecting compressed air. As a result, because each filter bag 1 expands at the time of the shake-down of dust to be contacted with the partition plate 2 the shake-down effect of adhered dust is markedly enhanced by the shock generated at the time of the contact with the partition plate. Because the partition plate 2 has the uneven surface, the filter bag 1 is contacted with the partition plate locally but not entirely and, therefore, dust shake-down effect is enhanced.
