PURPOSE:To obtain an RNA polymerase II in high purity, preventing the inactivation, by carrying out the immunoadsorption chromatography with a carrier supporting immobilized subunit antibody. CONSTITUTION:Immunoadsorption chromatography is carried out by using a carrier having immobilized subunit antibody, preferably a carrier bonded with an antibody purified from a rabbit antiserum against the 175K and/or 145K subunit of yeast RNA polymerase.
