STARTING AND LOAD LIMITING METHOD FOR HYDRAULIC TURBINE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRIC GOVERNOR

PURPOSE:To attain starting of a hydraulic turbine generator without a shock by constituting a starting and load limiting method therefor such that an output of a speed controlling amplifier and a deviation amount between an opening setting instruction amount and a rigidity restoration amount are applied to a limiter circuit in order to start the hydraulic turbine generator with its governor system being held active upon such starting. CONSTITUTION:In starting a hydraulic turbine generator, when a contact S1 is closed by a starting instruction, a predetermined starting opening setting instruction amount is sent out therefrom to raise the potential at a point A from 0V to a predetermined level. Simultaneously, a predetermined speed instruction amount is input to a comparator circuit 122 through a contact S11 while another predetermined speed instruction amount is input to another comparator circuit 123 from a speed governor 7. When a speed setting instruction amount is applied to a limiter circuit 10 by way of a comparator circuit 124 and a speed controlling amplifier 1 while the starting opening setting instruction amount is applied to the limiter circuit 10 by way of the contact S1, a comparator circuit 121 and an amplifier 11, the output of the limiter circuit 10 is limited to a predetermined amount. The thus limited output amount of the limiter circuit 10 is applied to a converter 2 to open a guide valve through a pressure distribution valve 3 and a servo motor 4.
