PURPOSE:To maintain a computer efficiently by storing history information of the computer in a battery-incorporated RAM to make change, addition, and inquiry possible. CONSTITUTION:A program for history information management processing of the computer device is stored preliminarily in a battery-incorporated RAM 4. Information stored in the RAM 4 is updated or information is added to this information in accordance with information from a keyboard of the computer device itself or a transmission line. Log information in the RAM 4 is transmitted to an information display device like a cathode-ray tube or a printer of the computer itself in case of inquiry from the keyboard of the computer and is transmitted to the transmission line in case of inquiry transmitted from a remote place through the transmission line, and further, log information in the RAM 4 is edited (analyzed).
