PURPOSE:To provide the titled food composed of marshmallow and chewing gum, preventing the migration of moisture between the components, having the soft feeling of marshmallow as well as the chewing characteristic of a gum and having long shelf life, by adding a block or granular chewing gum in a marshmallow containing a humectant. CONSTITUTION:The objective food can be produced by adding preferably 1-20wt% humectant such as invert sugar to marshmallow and adding block or granular chewing gum to the humectant-containing marshmallow. It is preferable to add a humectant also to chewing gum to obtain a food having further prolonged shelf life.
