PURPOSE:To prevent clogging or the like of orifices and enhance the reliability of jetting by arranging a slit corresponding to each orifice on the surface of the tip of the orifice of a nozzle of an ink-jetting device having a plurality of nozzles. CONSTITUTION:In an ink-jetting device of a drop-on-demand type composed of the nozzles 12, ink chambers 11, a vibration plate 18, piezoelectric elements 19, etc., a slit plate 24 wherein a plurality of slits 25 having a diameter larger than that of the orifice 13 and being opposed to each orifice 13 are arranged on the ink-jetting surfaces of the orfices 13 in plural formed correspondingly to the nozzles 12 in plural, and each of the slits 25 is communicated with an ink supply source. By this constitution, the orifices 13 are constantly coated with ink in the ink pool of the slits 25, which prevents sticking of dust in the air to the orifices, as well as clogging of the orifices due to drying and setting of ink.
