INCOMING-SIDE DEVICE OF CONTINUOUS STRIP PROCESSING LINE

PURPOSE:To connect both the preceding and following strips with no fluctuation of tension, by providing a shearing machine which moves in a body with a connector at the place right before the connector and at the same time setting a path changing table right before the shearing machine. CONSTITUTION:A continuous line process is carrried out to a strip 15 of an upper-side strip supply device, and a strip 15' of a lower-side strip supply device is made to wait at a path changing talbe 7. When the coil strip quantity within a roll-out machine 1 reaches a value right before its end, the machine 1 is retarded and stopped with the end signal of a detector to stop the strip 15. A shearing machine 8 works to divide the preceding strip 15, and then both the machine 8 and a connector 9 moves in a body toward the table 7. Then the connector 9 reaches the tail end of the strip 15 and stops there. A roll-out machine 1' carries out a strip 15' as soon as the table 7 moves upward. Thus the strip 15' overlaps the tail end of the strip 15 and stops, and both strips 15 and 15' are connected together by the connector 9.
