PURPOSE:To perform a power source supply and the transmission and reception of a signal with high reliability by disposing a coil between a memory substrate and a device in non-contact state and receiving and supplying the power source and the signal. CONSTITUTION:An IC card is provided with a substrate 101 made of an insulating material, an electronic circuit 102 buried in the substrate 101, and coils I-IV. The coil I is a coil for a power source for receiving a power to drive the electronic circuit 102 from a read-write device, the coil II is a data outputting coil for feeding the contents of the memory written in the memory situated in the electronic circuit 102 to the read-write device side, the coil III is a data inputting coil for receiving a digital signal to be stored from the read-write device and the coil IV is a coil for receiving a mode command from the read-write device. The respective coils are formed in a spiral shape, and any of which is disposed in the vicinity of the insulating part of the IC card.
