The touch contact panel comprises a number of contacts each having at least a first and a second contact surface. - At least the first contact surfaces are interconnected via an electrical resistance circuit . The circuit may connect the first surfaces in series, the two ends of this connection forming terminals whilst the second surfaces are interconnected via conductors leading to a common terminal . Alternatively, the circuit may consist of two parallel interconnections each leading to one terminal whereby at least one consists of resistive material whilst each second surface connects these two at the point where the contact is depressed .
