The cooled air in display counter has air recirculated by a number of vertical ventilators. Their blades partly protrude through apertures in ducts under the display trays. The cabinet includes a base in which the cooling pipes (2a, 2b) are connected to cooling unit. These are fitted in horizontal air duct (4) with top walls (5) forming the bottom of display top case (6), which has transparent panels (7,8) through which the goods are visible and displayed on the bottom (5) or grid (9). Ventilators (15) have vertical spindles (16) and blades protruding slightly through apertures. An electric motor (17) is fitted in the base, and recirculating cooling air is controlled by a speed regulator (18).
