The model motor car drive mechanism includes differential coupling with apertured disc. A driven gear wheel connects to a hollow spindle which is supported in bearing in chassis, and resilient support with incorporated rubber ring. Its motor (2) is connected to a chassis (1) by bolts, and its spindle (4) carries a gear wheel (5) which engages a second gear wheel (6) fixed to a hollow spindle (7). This is journalled in a bearing (8) which is mounted in the chassis by rubber O-rings (9). The other end of the hollow spindle (7) has outward bent legs (10) which protrude through apertures (11) in disc (12) which is part of a differential coupling (13). Withdrawal of the legs is prevented by resilient ring (14).
