The roll blocks contain a base body having a roll surface into which there is embedded a multitude of rolling balls that are closely spaced from each other and located in associated spherical cavities. The rolling balls protrude from the associated spherical cavities by less than half of their circumference and are embedded in a rollingly movable manner in the roll surface.
