The orthopaedic instrument aligns the teeth and jaws by elastic traction, having forehead and chin supports fixed to rods, and a transverse arch at mouth level into which elastic traction devices are hooked. The forehead support (1) has two holders (2, 3), securing top metal bars (7), and the chin support (4) two others (5, 6) for bottom ones (9). The free ends of the top and bottom bars are adjustably secured to lateral clamps (12), and the ends of the pre-labial transverse arch (16) are also adjustably attached to these clamps.
