Changes in a process and apparatus for the production of caustic soda and Halogen from Brine. Consisting in placing a Brine in Intimate contact with the electrolyser of filter press type and passing an electric current through the UBA to take place the meeting electrolytic Sodium Halide into Sosa and Halogen.The Apparatus includes a monopolar Cuba which comprises a Body (1) consisting of a Plurality of sets of Anode (4) and (5), sets of cathode in contact with the Membrane Selective permeability Holes (6); and Integrated Discharge and entry (100). They have applications in industrial processes.
