Grinding machine with a control device for the camber grinding of cutters, in particular mincing-machine cutters

For the camber grinding of the cutting edge of a mincing-machine cutter, the latter is guided in a known manner on a rotating grinding wheel using controlled movement components such that rolling movements of the cutting edge result, producing, in a plurality of grinding zones merging into one another, the contour of the camber profile with an optimum cutting angle. The predeterminable grinding angles of the zones are transferred to a working element of the grinding machine as a function of the adjustable stroke lengths delivered by a servomotor, as a result of which the grinding movements of the workpiece are correspondingly guided. To reduce the previous time and handling expenditure and further increase the operating precision, it is proposed to make control operations in some cases proceeding semi-automatically fully automatic by providing an electronic, programmable controller of the feed coordinates for the workpiece, which can be integrated into the control device.
