Low-induction, low-resistance high-load resistor for pulse-forming networks

The invention relates to a very low-induction high-load resistor for testing high-power test-current pulse generators having a medium to high repetition frequency (repetition rate). The resistor is of coaxial construction and has a cooled inner conductor consisting of resistance material and an outer conductor consisting of copper, the inner tube and the outer tube being insulated from one another to an extent which is sufficient for the test voltages which occur. The efficiency measurement is carried out by measuring the coolant temperature difference between the inlet and outlet calorimetrically.
