COARSE DISINTEGRATING METHOD FOR IRON POWDER CAKE FOR IRON POWDER DISINTEGRATING PLANT

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for exchanging a primary disintegrating machine at each time by the demanded apparent density of product iron powder by adequately changing the rotating speed of the disintegrating hammer of the primary disintegrating machine according to the demanded apparent density. CONSTITUTION:The plate-shaped iron powder cake is coarsely disintegrated by the disintegrating hammer 24 of a variable disintegrating machine 4 of a primary disintegrating plant 1 and is finely disintegrated to the product iron powder having a desired apparent density by a feather mill 12 of a secondary disintegrating plant 7. The demanded apparent density S of the product iron powder is inputted to a controller 28 which reads out the rotating speed from the map contained in the controller 28 and outputs the same to a driving device 27. The driving device 27 rotates and drives a rotor 23 of the machine 4 at the speed corresponding to the demanded apparent density so that the iron powder cake is coarsely disintegrated by the disintegrating hammer 24. The need for exchanging the primary disintegrating machine by the demanded apparent density is thereby eliminated and the productivity is improved.
