PURPOSE:To enhance graininess of a dye image even through rapid processing by processing a photosensitive material specified in film thickness, silver iodide content, and the kind of cyan coupler with a specified color developing solution. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material has on a support a photographic constituent layer having a dye film thickness of =25mum and containing silver halide grains, preferably, of a core-shell type or flat type in one or more emulsion layers, having =0.5mol% silver iodide content. The photosensitive material also contains in one or more layers the cyan coupler represented by formula in which one of R and R1 is H and the other is alkyl; X is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; and R2 is a ballasting group. This photosensitive material is processed with the color developing solution containing an aromatic primary amine color developing agent in an amount of =0.015mol/l in a time of =180sec, thus permitting graininess to be enhanced even in the case of rapid processing, and occurrence of cyan fog to be restrained.
