WAVEGUIDE TYPE POWER SYNTHESIZING AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE:To perform the parallel operation of plural hybrid integrated circuit type amplifying elements having small and simplified constitution, by using a waveguide to which the plural hybrid integrated circuit type amplifying elements can be connected. CONSTITUTION:An RF signal is inputted to the input side connecting part of an input side Y-form waveguide 12, and afterwards a power is distributed to two, and are inputted from amplifying element side connecting parts 14 to the hybrid integrated circuit type amplifying elements 7 through input terminals 18. The input RF signals are amplified, and are outputted from output terminals 19 to amplifying element connecting parts 17, and afterwards they are synthesized again, and it is outputted from an output side connecting part 16. In this way, it is possible to distribute, to amplify, and to synthesize, and a waveguide type power synthesizing amplifier can be miniaturized and made light weight.
