- 2 -ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe device for the high speed feeding ofcigarette filter rods from a magazine, through avertical chute, to a rotary pick-up drum arrangedat the bottom end of the vertical chute, comprisesan endless suction belt which defines one side wallof the vertical chute and an adjoining portion ofthe bottom wall of the magazine. In this manner,the filter rods are positively pushed downwardlythrough the chute.
