Vinyl chloride - graft - copolymer and a process for the preparation of a vinyl chloride - graft - copolymer

A process wherein 100 parts by weight of vinyl chloride are graft copolymerised in the presence of from 2.4 to 24 parts by weight of a copolymer in aqueous suspension. The copolymer comprises polymerised units of styrene or methoxystyrene on the one hand and of 1,3-butadiene or 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene on the other hand, and is fully hydrogenated after its preparation. The graft copolymers can be converted into high-impact, highly transparent mouldings.
