Ridge sealing and ventilating element (1) for fitting between ridge board (2) and ridge tiles (3), having a ridge capping (4) which at least partially encloses the ridge board and runs above the ridge board (2) and at least over part of the side flanks of the ridge board (2), at a distance therefrom. Wing parts (5, 6) are connected laterally, such that they can be adjusted in terms of angle, to the ridge capping (4), along the longitudinal edge thereof.
