Sections for reinforcing panels, characterised in that each section 6 in cross-section assumes substantially the shape of a U so that the bottom 6a of the U is concave and the branches 6b, 6c of the U trap a panel 1 on the top 2 of the latter and along one of the longitudinal sides 3, the lower branch 6c being extended by a wing which is stood up vertically 6d which fastens into a notch 5 of one of the transverse sides 4 of the panel 1, this section being produced from slightly elastic but very strong material, for example a high quality steel.
