CHRONIC RESPIRATORY DISEASE IN BIRDS, POULTRY CHOLERA AND ENTERITIS NECROTICANS

PURPOSE: To treat the subject diseases by oral administration of each effective amount of antibiotic LL-E19020, LL-E19020 , or salt thereof. CONSTITUTION: Birds infected with Clostridium perfringens, Mycoplasma gallisepticum or Pasteurella multocida are treated by mixing a feed or drinking water with 0.5-1,000 (pref. 1.0-50)ppm of antibiotic LL-E19020 , LL-E19020, or a salt thereof afforded by culturing Streptomyces lydicus ssp. tanzanius NRRL18036 in a liquid medium followed by orally administering the birds with the mixture.
