PURPOSE:To simply demonstrate a phenomenon turning the electric resistance of a superconductor to zero by loading/unloading a superconducting material to/from a liquid nitrogen container while holding a stick fixing the superconducting material to which a fixed current is allowed to flow by a 4-terminal method and a thermometer to its lower end. CONSTITUTION:The stick 6 fixing the superconducting material 1 to which a fixed current is allowed to flow by the 4-terminal method and the thermometer 4 to its lower end is held by a robot 8 and the movement of the robot 8 is controlled by a control device 9 to load/unload the stick 6 to/from the liquid nitrogen container 10. The voltage of the superconducting material 1 and the measured temperature of the thermometer 4 are displayed on a digital multimeter, the phenomenon suddenly turning the voltage of the superconducting material 1 to zero in the liquid nitrogen is digitally displayed and a tape recorder 12 is simultaneously controlled to repeatedly explaining said phenomenon by an endless tape and a speaker 13. Consequently, the phenomenon turning the electric resistance of the superconducting material to zero can be simply demonstrated by an exhibition or the like.
