MUTANT STRAIN HAVING HIGH SECRETION OF HUMAN LYSOZYME, ITS SELECTION AND PRODUCTION OF HUMAN LYSOZYME USING SAME

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce human lysozyme in high efficiency, by using a microbial mutant strain holding a plasmid containing human lysozyme gene and having high performance to secrete human lysozyme and culturing the strain in a medium. CONSTITUTION:Test microorganism is planted on an agar plate containing bacterial cells and a nutrient necessary for the proliferation of the test microorganism. A microbial mutant strain having high performance to secrete human lysozyme is screened by the size of transparent ring formed by the lysis of the bacterial cells. The obtained mutant microbial strain holding a plasmid containing human lysozyme gene and having high performance to secrete human lysozyme is cultured in a medium and human lysozyme is separated from the cultured product. Human lysozyme can be produced in high yield by this process to enable the mass-production of human lysozyme.
