METHOD OF HEATING VENEER IN INTERMITTENT CARRYING TYPE HOT PLATE DRIER

PURPOSE: To facilitate shrinkage of a single plate caused by drying and dissipation of steam by regulating the closest gap of an arbitrary number of pairs of heating boards out of a proper number of pairs in a drying device to an interval exceeding the total thickness of the single plate and a endless belt by an arbitrary amount. CONSTITUTION: A single plate 11 is intermittently carried successively by endless belts 1 and 2, an elevation mechanism 5 lowers an upper heating board 4 in synchronization with an intermittent stop, and the single plate 11 performs heating with a lower heating board 3. When the heating is made for a specific amount of time, the upper heating board 4 is raised and at the same time is synchronized and carried again. Although the single plate 11 is dried repeatedly and is transferred outside, the closest interval between all the upper and lower heating boards 4 and 3 is regulated to an interval that exceeds a value obtained by summing up the thickness of the single plate 11 and that of the endless belts 1 and 2 by an arbitrary amount. Therefore, the single board 11 cannot be restricted even on heating. As a result, the single board can be shrunk and steam can be dissipated easily due to drying, thus drastically reducing the generation of crack regardless of the thickness of the single plate.
