The anti-vibration system for railway tracks has a cushion (2) of a shock absorbing material set at regular intervals beneath each rail (1), located in a recess formed in a concrete support. The degree of flexibility of the cushion is selected so that the rails rest on alternating flexible and rigid supports. The rail supports can be fixed directly to the ground or via plates of anti-vibration material or, in another variant, to concrete sleepers set on anti-vibration supports. The degree of flexibility of the cushions is between 2 x 10 to the power of 6 N/m and 2 x 10 to the power of 7 N/m for the flexible cushions and between 2 x 10 to the power of 8, N/m and 2 x 10 to the power of 9 N/m for the rigid ones.
