This invention places a number of tooth root canal fillers in row on a seating device and marks their heads to discriminate the respective sizes. The seating plate receives a number of fillers (P) in its recesses for their heads (P') to extrude in exposure with respective lengths from a cover (20) so that the exposed heads are marked by dipping them in ink in a tray (40). The length of the marks indicates the size of the fillers.
