Vincamine and epivincamine are produced by culturing cells of the culture FICE-V3 (DSM 4365) under aerobic conditions in a liquid medium containing a source of assimilable carbon, a source of assimilable nitrogen and mineral salts. They may be incorporated into pharmaceutical compositions.
