It comprises, for the production of walls and partitions, an assembly of base elements including a wall element 5, 6 which includes, on its lateral timber edges 6, a jointing formation, timber posts 4 having, on their lateral faces, identical jointing formations, and timber corner pillars 3, of square cross-section, having, on two adjacent lateral faces, at least jointing formations identical to those of the wall elements and of the posts. This assembly also includes a timber bottom wall plate (beam) 1 on which the wall elements 5, 6, the posts 4 and the corner pillars 3 rest, and a top wall plate (beam) 7 resting on the wall elements 5, 6, the posts 4 and the corner pillars 3.
