Millstone-carrier plate and millstone supported by the said plate for a polishing machine

Millstone-carrier plate intended to be screwed onto a rotating tray of a polishing machine. This plate is made of polypropylene copolymer and on its face opposite the tray comprises at least one circular collar 4 which is interrupted by notches 5 and provided with openings for anchorage with undercuts 6. The abrasive material is intended to be moulded onto this face in the form of a cylindrical cap whose base embeds the collar(s) 4 with a radial continuity of material at the notches 5 and bridges of material through the anchorage openings 6. The invention is applied for producing millstones intended to be fitted to polishing machines or any other similar machines (grinding machine etc.). IMAGE
