PURPOSE: To provide high insulation resistance and high voltage resistance between contacts by improving the flexibility of a flexible switch for an increase in the force of deflection, and increasing a contact pressing force for the elimination of flexible part displacement. CONSTITUTION: An airtight protecting tube 11 made of glass is mounted on top of a glass base part 12 for hermetic sealing, and a nipple 13 for connecting a vacuum pump no shown in the figure is formed on one side of the tube 11. Next, at least, one flexible piezoelectric ceramic switch device 14 is enclosed in the tube 11 and supported on the base part 12, while piezoelectric ceramic plate elements having a common inside conducting surface 15 and outside conducting surfaces 15D, 15E are previously separated and integrated as elements 15A, 15B. Next, a clamp means 17 is supported in cantilevered fashion inside the tube 11, and a conductive cap 24 having electric switch contacts is mounted at the movable free end of a flexible body 15. Thus even when the flexible body 15 is curved, a current is passed to contacts 29, 24 on a conducting rod 19 through a flexible braided conductor 26.
