PURPOSE:To judge of anything trouble in a control system without fail, by installing a trouble warning device which gives warning that there is something wrong in a controller at a time when a value of a learning compensation factor is more than the specified one is judged by a learning state judging device. CONSTITUTION:An injection quantity operational device calculates an injection quantity in a way of multiplying a fundamental injection quantity by an air-fuel ratio feedback compensation factor and a learning compensation factor. A learning state judging device compares a value of the learning compensation factor searched by a learning compensation factor searching device with the setting value and judges its size. A trouble warning device gives warning that there is something wrong in a controller at a time when a value of the learning compensation factor is more than the setting one by this judging device. Thus, trouble judgment inclusive of a secular change in a control system is performable.
