PURPOSE:To absorb a bending phenomenon on the both side parts of the bonding surface of an endless steel band and prevent a crack due to repeated bending from generating by forming absorbing members in an integrated form with the both sides of the bonding surface of an installing member having a lateral U-section. CONSTITUTION:A mounting member 3 which is formed by bending a thin plate of elastic metal into a section of lateral U-form, has a welding surface 5 for mounting a diamond tip 2 and a bonding surface 4 for an endless steel band 1. Absorbing members 6 are formed in an integrated form with the both sides of this bonding surface 4, to absorb force which tends to bend the endless steel band 1 in a diamond tip saw, at both side parts of the bonding surface 4, i.e., near the lines A, by the absorbing members 6. Thus, the curvature of the curve of the band 1 near the lines A is increased, making it difficult for a crack due to repeated bending to be generated in the lines A part, increasing the life of the diamond tip saw.
