PURPOSE:The titled composition excellent in calenderability, comprising a partially crosslinkd ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber, PP resin, a mineral oil softener, a higher fatty acid amide and PE resin. CONSTITUTION:0.05-3pts.wt. higher fatty acid amide (e.g., palmitamide) is added to 100pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer consisting of (i) 90-40pts.wt. ethylene/ alpha-olefin (mol ratio 50/50-90/10) binary copolymer rubber or copolymer rubber prepared by copolymerizing the binary copolymer with a variety of polyene compounds in an amount to provide an iodine value of below 50, (ii) 10- 60pts.wt. PP resin and (iii) 5-100pts.wt. mineral oil softener (e.g., naphthenic process oil). The mixture is dynamically heat-treated in the presence of an organic peroxide to crosslink component i partially, and then the product is mixed with 0.1-100pts.wt. PE resin with MI of 0.1-100.
