PURPOSE:To manufacture formed product having accurate shape without using equipment of high cost by communicating an extrusion hole in a container and a forming hole in a forming die and extruding and forming Al base rapid-cooling solidified powder from the container side to a sliding die in the forming die. CONSTITUTION:The extrusion hole 4 in the container 2 and forming hole 6 in the forming die 5 are communicated, and sliding die 7 having a pushing die 8 and a flange die 9 is fitted in the forming hole 6. Successively, compressed-forming body 11 of the Al base rapid-cooling solidified powder charged into the container 2 is extruded into the extrusion hole 4 with an extrusion stem 3 under temp. of about 250-480 deg.C to form the extrusion-forming material 12 at integrated state. The sliding die 7 is slided to this extrusion-forming material 12, and after pressing in the pushing die 8 and continuing the extrusion, the sliding die 7 is retreated to the prescribed position. At the same time, the extrusion-forming material 12 is extruded to the forming hole 6 and the flange die 9 to form the extrusion-formed product 13. When the forming is completed, the forming die 5 is separated from the container 2 by the prescribed gap d1 and the extrusion-formed product 13 is cut with a cutting tool through this gap d1.
